Linda aka La Naija -- dancer, choreographer and co-founder of the all female urban dance company MAWU -- is bringing her passion for house to Harlem. Known for her fluidity, strength and musicality, La Naija's unique style of house is both sensual and athletic and deeply rooted in the club culture of dance. Whether you are an old-school house head, a classically trained dancer or a complete novice, you will get something out of this class.
This class explores the beauty of house -- the music, the dance and the culture. Students will work on technicality, musicality and individuality through a combination of basic movement drills, choreography, partner exchanges and group cyphers. Come thru and get your dance on!
